On this home page,
I'll let you know about upcoming events in the writing and acting world of "me". Too egotistical for my taste,
but this is how it's done, right?! I am not normally one to toot my own horn, so this website forces me to get
my efforts "out there". So, here we go! ********* I am pleased to post an interview that Adam Rothenberg did for his blog Adaumbellesquest.com.
He asks GREAT questions! Check out his other interviews as well!

Several
events have taken place in the area of my writing and acting! The 2011 Planet Connections Festivity hosted a One-Night-Only reading of "LATE NIGHTS WITH
THE BOYS: confessions of a leather bar chanteuse". We had 80 minutes and added in some great stories. We
had a great audience and proceeds went to PFLAG. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * I am happy to report that on Sunday, July 24th at the Plant
Connections Festivity Awards Ceremony I won "OUTSTANDING ACTRESS IN A READING". I couldn't have done it without
David Carson. ON THE SQUARE PRODUCTIONS (Jackie LaVanway and Rachel McPhee) hosted
a reading of my one-act play "Morning, Noon, and Night in Central Park". Directed beautifully by Dev Bondarin
we had great cast and the feedback inspired me to write a new play! Lovely work, all!! On March 16th, 2011 there occurred an amazing event.
A packed house celebrated Doric Wilson's 50 years as a playwright. Doric Wilson became a dear friend and then suddenly
passed away on May 7, 2011. His TOSOS friends, the LGBT theatre community, and new
friends such as myself already miss him. Doric was a shooting star which came into my life with brilliance and
left just as I was getting accostomed to the light. RIP Doric. Charles
Busch, Michael Lynch, KT Sullivan et al. to Salute Doric Wilson at March 16 TOSOS Benefit Charles Busch, currently starring Off-Broadway in The Divine Sister, will make a special guest appearance at a cabaret benefit for the theater company TOSOS (The Other Side of
Silence), to be held at the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Wednesday, March 16 at 9:30pm. The evening will celebrate Doric Wilson's
50 years as a playwright. Mark Finley will direct, with musical direction by Steve Ross. Wilson's
career began on March 18, 1961, with the production of his play, And He Made a Her, a feminist take on Adam and Eve,
at the Caffe Cino on Cornellia Street. It was directed by Paxton Whitehead and starred Jane Lowry as Eve. Performers at the benefit will include Joanne Beretta, Alex
Bond, Christopher Borg, J.Stephen Brantley, Morry Campbell, Lodi Carr, Jamie Heinlein, Robert Locke, Michael Lynch,
Susan Marie Pierson, Scott Ross, Zachary Stains, Karen Stanion, KT Sullivan, Aaron Tone, and Chris Weikel. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * There
have been some readings lately that I was honored to have participated in. Bob Ost's play "BREEDERS"
was read at the 13th Street Theatre. I had the pleasure of being the lovely "Rita". Mark Finley guided
the talented cast. Doric Wilson asked me to read the role
of Bonnie the cop in his play THE WEST STREET GANG for the TOSOS fundraiser to kick off their 2011 season. Mark
Finley directed. I had a grand time working with Mark and the talented cast and enjoyed trying to locate my "inner
cop"! For more on TOSOS go to www.tosos2.org. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The year started with the
MTWorks Newborn Festival. For David Stallings' new play THE RE-EDUCATION OF ARIZONA I read the role of Jan Brewer (gotta
love to hate her) and some of the stage directions. Cristina Alicea directed. for MTWorks info go to www.mtworks.org * * * * * * * * * * * *
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * And finally,
in the works, I am having a wonderful time writing a new play "A FUNERAL FOR DERBY DAY". So there you have it. I am enjoying a great 2011... I love my NYC family of friends. * * * * * ** * * * * * ** *** * * * * * ** * ** * * ***** * * * * * **

HOME ACROSS THE OCEAN BY CODY DAIGLE": ** ** ** ** ** A HOME ACROSS THE OCEAN review bites ====== Theatre Is Easy by Dan Fingerman on 9.24.10“As Connor's mother Grethe, Alex
Bond steals the show with her subtle and nuanced performance. She deftly mixes the combination of Midwestern
